System Overview

ResumeToExcel Auto Uploader allows resumes to be processed automatically by placing them into a folder. The system reads the files and generates structured resume data without manual uploads.

Application Setup

You will receive the Auto Uploader application file:

Application Name: ResumeToExcel.exe
  • Run the application on your computer.
  • The system automatically processes files every 20 minutes.
  • You may minimize the application and continue your work.
  • The application runs in the background until it is stopped manually.

Required Folder Setup

You are required to create four folders on your system. You may create these folders in any location as per your convenience.

  • Source Folder
  • Destination Folder
  • Error Folder
  • Log Folder

Folder naming conventions do not matter, but the folders should not be configured in recursive mode.

Source Folder

Place resumes in this folder. The system automatically scans and picks files for processing. Duplicate files are not checked, so if the same file is placed again it will be processed again and units will be consumed.

Destination Folder

After successful processing, files are moved to the destination folder while maintaining the same folder hierarchy.

Error Folder

If a file cannot be processed or an error occurs, the file will be moved to the Error folder. No processing units are consumed for these files.

Log Folder

The Log folder records system activities such as processed files, errors, timestamps, and application logs for troubleshooting.

License Key

Each client account includes one Auto Uploader facility. If additional Auto Uploaders are required, please contact the support team.

  • The license key will be shared separately by the system administration team.
  • Do not share the license key with anyone.
  • The license key is linked to your account and machine.

Processing Rules

  • The application must be running.
  • Files must be available in the Source folder.
  • Sufficient processing units must be available.
  • An active subscription plan must exist.

The system will continuously pick files and process them as long as the application is running.

Can I use the Auto Uploader and the website at the same time?

Yes. The system remains synchronized and allows you to work on both platforms simultaneously.

How many files can be processed at a time?

There is no fixed limit. The system continuously processes files as long as the application is running and processing units are available.

What if I do not have an active subscription plan?

The system will stop processing files until an active subscription plan is available.

What if permission to store files on the cloud is removed?

If the system does not have permission to store files on the cloud, processing will stop and no files will be processed.

Can I download all processed files at once?

Yes. You can download all processed files anytime during the active subscription period.

For how long are files available on the server?

File availability depends on the subscription plan and renewal. Once the subscription expires, files may be removed from the server.

What if I try to run the application on another machine?

Each Auto Uploader instance is bound to a specific machine. Running it on another machine requires an additional license key.

Can I run multiple Auto Uploaders on the same machine?

No. Multiple application instances on the same machine are not supported. However, you can continue processing files through the website platform.
